Jason Morris
Jason started in HVAC at A-Temp in 1994 and worked as a technician through 2003. He spent the next twenty years at the Port of Portland as an ILWU member from 2003 to 2023 — a different trade entirely, but the same hands-on, get-it-right-the-first-time discipline that shapes how he runs an HVAC shop today.
In 2023 Jason left the Port to come back to HVAC and co-found Oregon Climate Tech with his brother Tristin and longtime family friend Adam Eells. The shop they built reflects what Jason wished he'd seen across his career: properly sized equipment, factory-spec installs, manufacturer credentials that actually mean something, and labor warranties that don't have asterisks.
Today Jason oversees install design and quality across every job that goes out the door. If you've gotten an in-home estimate from Oregon Climate Tech, there's a good chance the Manual J load calc and equipment recommendations on it crossed his desk first.
