Outdoor unit running, indoor air warm
Usually a frozen indoor coil, caused by a clogged filter, low refrigerant, or restricted airflow. Quick diagnosis, often a same-day fix.
Loud noises (banging, screeching, hissing)
Banging = compressor or fan blade. Screeching = belt or motor bearing. Hissing = refrigerant leak. All worth a same-day look.

Water leaking around indoor unit

- Typical AC repairs land in the $150–$650 range. Capacitor or contactor work is usually the lowest end. Refrigerant leaks and major component swaps (compressor, evaporator coil) run $700–$2,500+. Flat-rate quote before we touch anything.
- Rule of thumb: if the repair is more than 50% of replacement cost AND the system is over 10 years old, replacement usually wins. We model the math at the call so you can decide with real numbers.
- Refrigerant doesn't get 'used up' — if it's low, there's a leak. We do proper leak detection, repair the leak, then recharge to factory weight. Just topping off with refrigerant is a band-aid that fails again within months.
